About Me

I consider myself incredibly privileged because, from a young age, I was immersed in the incredible stories of my grandparents. Their anecdotes sparked a deep curiosity in me about history—especially the history of Colombia. My grandfather’s story of being kidnapped by the guerrilla in 1996, and my grandmother’s family’s experiences of survival were profoundly impactful and shaped my perspective as a child. These experiences motivated me to read, research, and learn more about my country.

The more I spoke with older generations who lived through some of Colombia’s most difficult times, the more I realized these stories weren’t being shared in other spaces—not among my friends or in the places I frequented. This realization inspired me to start sharing them. I began by writing, conducting interviews, and asking more questions, eventually turning these efforts into creative projects.

My goal has always been to wake up each day and do what I love most: telling stories and giving a voice to those who might never have imagined themselves in front of a camera. Today, I have the privilege of doing exactly that. Through documentary film I listen to people's experiences and weave them into something magical—I found I have the power to visually portray their stories while adding the perfect sound to touch people’s hearts.

Unscripted film and television fuel my passion. Editing these projects allows me to bring light to inspirational stories that often go untold. Every day, I feel a sense of pride and joy, knowing that through film, I’m making a difference.

Every project I undertake—whether a film, podcast, or documentary—aims to create meaningful, heartfelt experiences for the participants and the audience. I am endlessly grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey. The lessons I’ve learned from each story, question, and shared moment are priceless, and they continue to inspire me every day. Thank you for being here and for joining me in celebrating these incredible voices.
